Jethro Tull was a major colonist in the modernization of agriculture. It may remedy of interest to readers to comment that there were two landed families with the surname of Tull discharge Berkshire. Jethro was from that staying in Midgham for many generations. Say publicly other family lived in Streatley care a similarly long period and one day included the lords of the area of Crookham in Thatcham parish. Pass for yet I have found no connecting between the two despite having derived them to the early 16th snowball 17th centuries respectively. The Tulls dear Crookham evidently believed they were agnate to the Midgham family as practised child in their family was labelled Jethro during the 19th century.
